Bath, grooming, and coat care for your dog

We offer 3 different techniques for dog care and coat care, tailored to your dog's coat type and needs: deshedding, clipping, and scissor styling:

• Clipping is about keeping your dog's coat healthy and well-maintained through professional machine clipping. This technique is only suitable for dog breeds without an undercoat, where the coat consists solely of continuously growing topcoat hair, for example Bichon Havanese, Yorkshire Terrier, Shih Tzu, and Poodle. Regular clipping prevents matting and ensures your dog always looks well-groomed.
   

• Deshedding involves brushing and removing the dead undercoat, which naturally sheds in spring and autumn. However, many dog owners find that their dog sheds almost year-round, since the dog lives in a stable indoor climate throughout the year. That's why we recommend regular deshedding, so the undercoat doesn't build up. Your dog will feel lighter, fresher, and more comfortable.
   

• Scissor styling is the more craft-based technique within dog grooming, where the coat is cut and shaped with scissors to highlight the breed's natural silhouette and expression. Unlike machine clipping, this technique preserves more of the coat's texture and length, making it well suited for dogs where a soft, natural look is desired, or where the breed standard calls for a specific shape.
